As sad as I am to see Mr. Taylor go quietly into that good night, I have to agree with Luc. Better to end on a high note than take it too far and end on a sour note.

I wasn't insinuating that a future Nightside series would star him mind, there's tons and tons of interesting people around.
And let's not forget what Walker once said: John Taylor, the current champion of the Nightside.
There will be others, eventually.

Or, the bad guy could be the protagonist. (Let's face it, that'd be more interesting.)

I usually keep audiobooks running in the background. For some reason, I've really taken to the Nightside. Except for The Bride Wore Black Leather, I have possibly listened to each book near 100 times. I really don't care how things end or if something "should" be added to the story; I just love the books. They have the best ambiance. (Possibly, Marc Vietor's narration has something to do with how great the audio versions are.) I go to sleep listening to them and wake-up in the middle of the most surreal dreams. Just PLEASE, PLEASE write something more related to the Nightside. I don't get bored of the books but I would really like more. In a weird way, they are very relaxing. Some people drink, I listen to Nightside books.

I hope im not out of line bringing up this idea but i truly enjoy these books. they have such a great way of bringing out my imagination when thinking about the characters images. I have been discussing with my brother (who also loves the series) about a way to try and bring the story into a media format. I truly think this story could taken and done in a serious anime format. Does anyone think that is possible or do you all think im crazy? (which im fine with)

Welcome to the forum.

A number of company's have tried to produce a Nightside movie over the years (although no one's gone for an Anime approach so far).
It either needs someone with a barrel of money to want to make it, or a Hollywood 'name' would find it and want to play JT.
We live in hope!

As ever, I think anime would suck as an interpretation of SRGs works. Not for any sound, logical reason, but simply because I despise anime.

I'd love to see a 'name' pick up the books, though. (Far better than Hollywood just wanting to destroy the story for the sake of a few bucks.)

I still hope the Beeb picks it up.
And not something American.

I think that, if the Beeb were to do it, it'd end up a lot like Neverwhere.

The beeb has progressed a lot since then so I have more faith in them than in the US channels to be honest.
