On page 53 of From Hell with Love, Eddie is in Molly's Woods. He is mentioning some of the beasts he has seen there. He mentions a type of which I have never heard and was even unable to find online- fenendrees. Does anyone have any idea of what this/these are? I guess that theycould just be a creation of Mr Green, but a description and/or an idea of what/who they are would be interesting.

Hmmm maybe it's a creation of Simon's that gets mentioned in passing by but will show up in the next book.?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fenodyree:

Sometimes used as a proper name and sometimes as the name of a class of beings, the fenodyree is like a brownie, hob, or sprite in folklore, particular around the Isle of Man.

Thanks! Somehow I left out the "y" which would explain why I couldn't find it. You have to spell a word correctly.

I have yet to read the book (I prefer the Forest Kingdom stories), so it may be Simon's own take on the word. I just recognised what you were trying to say as I am somewhat interested in folklore.
