Here's from the Kindle edition - Steve if you feel this breaks copyright please delete it.
Quote:
Crow Lee was a large, broad-faced, powerful looking man, wearing a long Egyptian gown so spotlessly white it seemed to shine and shimmer in the restricted light of the library. He had a great shaven head and piercing dark eyes under bushy black eyebrows. So large a man, he seemed to fill his chair to overflowing. His hands, emerging from the narrow pure white sleeves, were particularly big and powerful. He had an almost hypnotic gaze, with eyes that seemed to look deep into me.

I get you're referring to Aleister Crowley, but honestly I didn't pick that up from the physical description. Of course he could also be Richard Dawkins! ;)

No, not Aleister Crowley (well in a sense I guess with that name).

Spoiler space.

A big man.
Long Egyptian gown in white.
A great shaven head.
Thick black eye brows.
. . . Glowing eyes when he's tries to control people. . .

Really, no one ??

Okay, that is pretty cool. I'm not sure it would have been possible to figure it out if I hadn't spotted the DVD case on my shelf while thinking about it though.

Nope I'm afraid I'm drawing a complete blank. I'm sure I'll smack my head with that retrospective "of course!" once I know it, but in the meantime

Too young to have watched them the first time round, too old to have watched them the second(?) time round.

I remember seeing a little of the TV show way back when, but I'm afraid I never made that connection at all. Was that Simon's intention when depicting Crow Lee, or just the association you made?

I realized the moment I read that page (but I'm odd)... Yes, that was Simon's intention (unofficially of course :D ).
