That blurb made me frown. Simon is much too clever for that to be the plot device. I'll have faith that the publisher is misrepresenting the book with that summary.

Haha I didn't make that connection, good call! I think that figure in the background is supposed to be a Drood in armor, which would sing familiar to the theme of "there's a traitor in your family"...

That figure in the background is most defiantly not a Drood in armour.

If you have a mind for the tiny details and add in the setting of the image there's a slight chance you might be able to work it out. . . :D :D :D
