Eddie Drood, aka Shaman Bond, and his true love Molly Metcalf — who also happens to be a powerful witch — are attending Casino Infernale, an annual event held by the Shadow Bank, financiers of all global supernatural crime. Their mission: rig the game and bring down the Shadow Bank. But at Casino Infernale, the stakes are high. Winner takes all — and losers give up their souls…

yay. :) Hmmmm, the blurb kind of make it seem like this book may be more stan-alonish ?

Why, oh why do we never get sent the covers any more :(

This is the start of a new story arc(s), as the last book tied up most of the original ones...

Amazon has the hardcover available for pre-order with a release date of 4 Jun 2013 per the US listing, roughly the same release schedule as previous Drood novels.

US Amazon

UK Amazon

I need this like yesterday!
Now that there's no more Nightside books I'm relying on Secret Histories (I don't think I'll ever really like Ghost Finders quite as much).

You and me both Hilde! I'm definitely feeling withdrawal symptoms here, Pit of Despair was much too short to keep me satisfied.

Good to see you posting again! :)

Why the fuck is the kindle edition MORE expensive than the actual hardcover book?
That makes absolutely NO sense, seeing kindle costs amazon pretty much nothing in the way of shipping etc.

*not impressed*

Wow, really? The US Kindle edition was approximately $2 cheaper than the hardcover. Maybe you just need to fake a US address and do all your Kindle purchases through there? :D

That's just ripping off non-US citizens. Another reason on my ever growing list not to set foot in that country.
