So only into the second chapter, and very much enjoying the book! Barring the Pit of Despair (which was a strange read) this is the first new SRG novel I've gotten my mitts on since Ghost of a Dream. It's good to be back in the familiar!

So the infamous "Summit" that was hinted about in previous books is finally going to take place. I wonder who will show? I'm betting we'll see Bruin Bear and the Seagoat again. Now the work day needs to end so I can get back to my book!

So... not who I was expecting to show up to the summit. I kind of expected someone from the Authorities to show up for the Nightside (or at least the Detective Inspectre), but was happy to see Dead Boy none-the-less. I was, however, surprised the Crowley Project were invited, especially considering the topic they were there to discuss.

I'm just going to say it because by now it's sort of expected of me.
Two regrets.
1. still no return of Harry and Roger (forever regretting the lack of Harry and Roger!)
2. Deadboy instead of Hadley. But every single book of whatever setting I hope for Hadleigh. (If Mr Green ever writes out Hadleigh's story I'd be mega super happy, seriously.)

Aside from that, this is definitely my favourite installment in the series yet!

Maybe a novella of Hadleigh's trip through the Deep School? That would make for a really interesting read!

In this case, I'm merely repeating what the great man said to me (and that I could put on here) when I told him that people were wanting to know when Hadleigh would be appearing again... :)

FINALLY! I've been waiting for Hadleigh to appear in Ghost Finders for well, ever (forever being for as long as the series exists). Considering the metaplot and all.
Roll on August.

I liked the Little Lord's guest appearance during the Middle Games. I managed to remember she was from Hawk & Fisher before Molly said she was trying to get back to Haven. That's one of the reasons I really love SRG's style, all those call outs to other novels he's written are like small appreciations to his fan base! :D
