The great thing about Bradford is that it has a really strong preservation society. As such, even when new developments are put in, the visual aesthetic of the town barely changes.

There are plenty of other photo opportunities, but I restricted my postings to places mentioned in the book.

Beautiful pictures, thanks for posting those Luc! No Blackacre farm though, eh? :D

I am unsure where he placed Blackacre, but I suspect that it may have been near the (not pictured here) Tithe Barn as there were ruined farm building there that would have worked well as a location.

However they have been redeveloped.

That said, there is always http://www.blackacrefarmeggs.com/ in Templecombe (a bit of a drive from Bradford, but fairly close to where my parents live.)

Just had rather a lovely meal in the Dandy Lion.

It wasn't cheap (compared to other places in the area), but the food was excellent, certainly not over-priced.

The place had lovely ambience (we were sat in the back room), you could just imagine crossing over to Mysterie.

Shame the kids wouldn't let me. :?

Not a problem.

I hope they help bring the book (even more) alive for people.
