Recently I started "Malekith" by Gav Thorpe, a novel in the medieval Warhammer setting and I was amazed - very well written, very epic, much better than the Dungeons & Dragons novels with which I am familiar and quite fond of. I have also read the Eldar trilogy by the same author, in the space opera setting, a powerful series indeed.
Anyone else a fan of Warhammer?

I used to be a big fan of Warhammer (used to work in one of the largest independent stockists in the UK), until it got too expensive.

I enjoyed the Orfeo trilogy, and Gilead's Blood. (Gilead Lothain is a brilliant character.)

I used to work for Games Workshop themselves... I'm almost over it 20 years later :)

I always thought the lore was interesting, the army books were more interesting for the background than the stats, but I admit I never tried any of the novels. I'll check out Malekith next time I'm in a lull for new material, thanks Darth!

I must admit, the hardest part of giving up the Warhammer stuff was the lore.
