The next Ghostfinders novel is available for pre-order on Amazon in both paperback and Kindle editions, current release date of 28 August 2012:

US Amazon link

UK Amazon link

Here's the cover art from the US publisher's site, no excerpt as of yet. I'm really miffed they got the suit and JC's eyes wrong again, and really hope they change the frankly unflattering quote on the front...

Really can't wait! Unlike many others, I love this series, maybe the current favorite of mine 8-)

I've still not entirely made up my mind about this one I must admit. The series that is, I've not read the book yet obviously.

And really: how bloody hard is it to get their outfits right, don't they brief the artist? Or does he just ignore the briefs? Morons.

I remember Steve saying in the last Ghostfinders book thread that the artist get several paragraphs of character description from the novel to work with. The worst part is the artist is the same as the first book, where at least the suit was right. I guess when you're churning out art at a rapid pace for a corporation you lose a lot of caring. :(

I remember the good old days when I used to get notice that these things were available...

Ah, well, the world turns.

I should be getting a few of these autographed if people want to hold off ordering for few days as they are also late arriving. . .

Moved to announcements.

Yeah, the forum software can be a bit picky! Don't take it personally. :D

I'll put a notice up when I know when I'm going to be getting them...

I wish I was still on the publishers reviewer list, then I wouldn't have to wait for this and my review would be up on the Gatehouse already. Oh well, in a couple of weeks school will start again and I'll be able to use their wifi to get it on my kindle.

Got it on my kindle yesterday, just started reading today. I couldn't understand the reason for the synopsis in the beginning. "For those joining our story already in progress..." I hope this was just something the publisher forced him to include.

Not his publisher, but his agent? He wanted a 'sum up' for where we are in the series arc...
