That's terrible!

But I know what you mean about PS and lack of communication. All I got were the odd one line email saying very little when I asked before the con.

The signed editions have an extra page with the autograph on it (Simon was sent them all months ago to complete). All I can think is they're having a problem compiling them into the finished book.

But that not an excuse for not telling their customers that there's a delay...

Finally got my book in the post yesterday, and although I'm only a few pages in, I'm already intrigued. It has all the style and panache we've come to expect from SRG, and I'm anxious to work through the story.

That aside, I have to say I'm disappointed at the physical quality of the book. The pages are very thin, and dark marks bleed through the paper from ink on the other side. The signature page is a pre-printed image of the cover art and just has a box for the author's signature in it. It seems more like an advertisement since before the signature it said there's an unsigned version available - why would I care about an unsigned edition when I've clearly got a signed edition? This combined with the nearly 2 months late delivery have me very unimpressed with PS Publishing. Hopefully SRG will choose other publishers for future one-shots like this.

All done. Back to the adventures of Captain Varles!
