Don't think Simon's ever had a stalker (but if they were good, how would you know?).

I think we have at least one other member attending as well, the more the merrier.

I don't know if they do door memberships? You might be better (if you know for sure they'll be attending) to buy a membership from the site.

Had message from the programming team yesterday, Simon's been asked to do a reading which he's agreed to do. No info on day or time yet or what other panels or talks he'll be on.

More info when I get it. . .

I'd love to attend but sadly it's a bit too expensive for me to get there.
Any chance Simon will attend a Belgian con this year or next?

He's never been invited to one.

He'll go most places if they want him and the date isn't too close to a deadlline.

I'll write to the organisers of facts and sci-fi con and suggest to invite him for one of the upcoming ones :)
It'd be really nice to get more awesome authors over to Belgian cons :)

Looks an interesting con.

I'll email him the con page link and see how he feels about the location and the time of year it takes place. . .

Just noticed it's the week before Fantasycon, that might be a problem if its the same weekend every year?

I'm not sure. I'm notoriously bad with remembering such things, sorry :(

Fantasycon has confirmed that Simon will be on at least one panel, will be doing a reading and 'should' be on the mass autograph panel.

I'm not able to post when these events will take place over the weekend as the con hasn't published the programme yet!

I'll add more info when I have it.

I'd warn anyone thinking of attending on a day ticket that there will be few few available and they start to sell them at 9:00 Saturday morning. Once they're gone that's it.
So if you have to travel to get there and would be arriving after 10:00ish the chance of getting in would be slight. Better to book a ticket on their website to be sure.
The hotel is closed to none con members and is fully booked.

Fantasycon Programme is now up.

Simon will be doing a reading at 9:00 on Saturday night. Last conversation I had with him, he was thinking of reading his new short 'Jesus and Satan go jogging in the desert' !
Its only a 30 minute slot, so it has to be something fairly short.

He's also on a panel or two but as they don't list whose on what on the programme grid and he's not been informed yet I have no idea when or where. . .

Finally the details of the programme.

8:00 Friday night. Mass autograph session. 1 hour.

9:00 Saturday night. Reading. 30 minutes.

10:00 Saturday night. Panel, 'Tie-in and Series
Fiction'. 1 hours.

and unless there are any changes that's it for Simon's appearances (apart from those in the bar of course. . .).

The cons in full swing, Simon's attending the mass autographing and I'm amazed the hotel WiFi really works this year.
Train trip down was one of the worst ever.
Madly over crowed and then running later and later until, when we reached Worthing they threw everyone off and told us we'd have to take the local service. Which stops everywhere!
Arrived a mere one and a half hours late on a trip that takes three and a half anyway...

Going to the bar. May add more later, but then again...
