I seem to have won a small mountain of books in the raffle last night! That's going to make the train trip back on Monday even more fun.

Simon had the uncorrected copies of Nightside 12 through just before he left so I have that read as well... Such a hard life.

There's a violin somewhere playing a sad sad song for the troubled life you lead.

How was the convention? Was the signing for Simon chaotic enough that he got the recognition he deserved?

All in all it was a fun event.

The mass signing was a but of bust as far as Simon was concerned. 1 hours sitting there and 6 autographs !

I went to his reading on Saturday night.
He read 'Satan and Jesus go jogging in the Desert' (The story we all said he'd never sell).
Wow, was he on form. A really great story (unless you're a religious purest). You can see where the 25+ years of acting help put a story over.

It'll be out later this year in 'The Monsters Corner' edited by Chris Golden.

The only problem we had all weekend was not being able to find the curry house that the other authors recommended! But we did find a very nice Italian.

I'm a religious purist, and still looking forward to it!
