The NEWS: Latest is from September.
Projects are still "Revealed soon!"
The titles for the next Ghostfinders and Secret History books have been announced. They aren't mentioned in the books section.

These sorts of things do not inspire happy thoughts in dedicated readers or casual websufers.

The news section will be updated in the next few days.

Projects... Well, yes. this should have gone live last year, but the project got changed. I hope to be able to reveal it in the next few weeks, but it's beyond my control. (but you will all like it!).

Books only go on the book section when I've got a cover and the backcover copy. The day I get these from the publisher (or Amazon!) they'll go on there.

Without wanting it to sound like an excuse, I can only post the info I'm given.
That's not to say I don't want feedback on the site good or bad. If you think I'm not keeping up then say so. I'm more than happy to supply what you all want as long as I can get it.

News section has been updated.

Please keep feeding back, I need to know what you all want!

After pleading and begging (not a pretty sight, I can tell you) there maybe something on the projects page after the weekend.

I'm not trying to be a jerk. These are things about the site itself that make a visitor think "Nothing's happening here. And that 'Under Construction' icon is so 1997." I understand you can't post what you don't have. It might be better to just take the Projects tab out entirely until there's to see.

No one thinks you're being a jerk, mate. I know I don't.

I want feedback, I don't anyone to say everythings fine when you've seen problems.

The projects section is a point in case.

I hope to have it resolved one way or another by the start of next week.

As I've said elsewhere, I need to know what people want to see. We're getting thousands of hits but very few people using the forum?

It maybe that just the 'hard core' fans will use it, but if there's something that those not using it would like to see there's 'contac't button to tell me if they don't want to register. . .

You post a lot of news in the forums Steve, how about a newsbox on the front page with some of the latest releases, such as the hardback of "A Hard Day's Knight" in January along with the Audible audiobook, and then "Beyond the Blue Moon, part 1" from Graphic Audio in February? It might help the "peek and go" visitor see that things are alive and kicking and Simon is indeed a very busy bee!

I was thinking of doing a weekly round up of posts in the news section at the start or end of each week.

problem would be, there's isn't always any !
