Yeah. What will be unexpected will be the changes from the main story, the addition of an unnecessary love interest subplot and a song from Enya. |

Oh I have no doubt that from Jackson's point of view this is most likely a work of passion. And all the trials he's had to overcome to get to this point are very commendable. That being said, hasn't this ship sailed? I very much enjoyed Jackson's imagining of the LotR trilogy... 10 years ago. In fact, the second date I had with the woman who became my wife was to see the first movie. However I think it's time to let this one go. I'm worried that it's going to be a box office failure and Hollywood will not green light any fantasy-themed films for some time to come. Look at what happened to comic book movies after the flop that was Superman 4. |
