So... What do people think about Disney's Star Wars announcement(s)?

I think meh, my brother and his 5 year old son are excited.

General feelings are they can't make much bigger a hash than Lucas already has.

Actually, i think the toy story guy being the new writer might be slightly ihteresting.

I think they are using the wrong Toy Story guy.

I seriously can't stand TS3, whilst Joss Whedon wrote the original.

The idea of them setting it significantly further forward, with new characters, and avoiding all the cool stuff that was supposed to come next irritates me.

Initially I was looking forward to what comes next. Now, I just want a reboot.

I thought I'd heard that they were using GL original plot idea's for the next three?

not sure if that's good or not... at least with GL out of the picture now you can watch them without him changing something before you get to the end. . .

Last thing I heard was that Mark Hammill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford may all come back, with most of the plot centred around new, younger characters.

At the risk of posting a link, this.

With the various options, it came in at just shy of £250.

Wow ! ! ! !

So if the Empire ever sent Storm Troopers to Trowbridge they'll be toast ;)

That is very impressive I have to say. Are the models based on the one's from SW:TOR?
