Always happy to please my fans.

What else can I say, really? The only thing with his name attached that I have ever really enjoyed was Cloverfield. (I admit, I liked Walter, in Fringe, but that show annoyed me more than it amused me.)

Beyond that, doesn't it seem a bit, well, heretical for a guy to be involved with both Star Wars and Star Trek?

To be honest I liked the first season of Fringe, but more because of Walter, the ultimate mad scientist than anything else I do admit.

I'm not sure what to think of a Star Wars episode VII to be honest. I suppose that IF it happens I'll at least look at the trailer and see what's going on.

Is the same person allowed to direct both a Star Wars and a Star Trek movie? Don't a squad of fanboys somewhere explode if that happens?

That thought had crossed my mind. Let me show you the last time the universes collided:

The fact that the same director for SW and ST is going to happen amuses me to NO END. Seriously. NO END.
I will shamelessly incite raging arguments at any sci-fi convention I visit later this year. Or wherever I find either Star Wars fans or Trekkies.
I may even tape it for youtube purposes.
Or just watch the drama unfold, it'll be better than most of what's on tv these days :)
