Do you like these two brilliant action movies with Liam Neeson?

First one was brilliant. Second... less so.

Why would they downgrade the violence in a movie that is, essentially, all about the violence?

I think that the second was dumber, but still fun and pretty violent 8-)
And Liam Neeson is truly awesome.

First was an 18, second was a 15. When talking about brutal action movies, that is a step backwards, not forwards.

Didn't notice to be honest... the only scene that was a little bit too brutal in the first movie was when Liam Neeson killed Marco from Tropoya and it was not too gory or scary or something. The 2nd movie had them fighting in something like a bath which was really fun.
The 2nd movie however was less spectacular, a bit sillier, and somehow expected because now you get that Liam is untouchable and will kill them all with no problem. The first part was intense and scary, especially the opening half an hour.
But still I like both.
