Yay! Radio times is giving away the books the 3 episodes are based on.

Now, I have them all in an enormouse hardback, and also on my tablet, but neither of these is the most readable format, so I picked up the first one, and being a small paperback it is read already.

*waits for the scandel in b***** to start*

Well, US networks didn't show the new episode, so I had to go through "alternate means". It was incredibly good! I was a little frustrated in the beginning with the close out of the pool scene, but was carried away shortly after that. A must watch -this series keeps getting better and better!

@Smaug, did you get your e-reader versions off project gutenberg? Because that's where I got mine and they work perfectly on my kindle.

I absolutely LOVED the episode. Very exited for the next one, I'm curious as to what they'll have made out of The Hound of the Baskerville.

Augh, I've been so busy this week I haven't had a chance to watch The Reichenbach Fall yet. The first two episodes have been deliciously good so far. I did see a note that the BCC has ordered more episodes, most likely premiering in 2013. WOOHOO!

I love the occasional homages to the classic Holmes, such as everyone commenting on the hat he briefly wore in A Scandal in Belgravia. I find it ironic that Baskerville came before Reichenbach in this series, whereas in the original telling they were in opposite order, especially since the Reichenbach story was meant to be the end of Sherlock Holmes. I can't wait to sit down and finish this one so I can begin the eager anticipation for more!

I did not enjoy episode 3 asmuch, very sloppy writing with lots of plotholes :(

And the books work fine, i'm just still loving paperbacks. :D
