An interest of mine is maps and mapping. This meshes with another interest of mine, which is world-building (I used to play D&D).

My problem is working out what to do with the worlds once I've made them.

I recently spent some cash on a bundle of 'Pro Fantasy' mapping software and have so far just been playing with it (best way to learn how to use it, really).

What I would love to do (when I can actually use the stuff properly) is do up some maps of Simon's work.

My first thought was the world of the Blue Moon books. Haven could be problematic, what with the Street of the Gods.

What do people think, could some maps be cool? (Fan-maps, of course, I make no presumptions as to being authorised.)

You should start playing RPGs again as well.

I stopped because I lost contact with people that had an interest in playing.

Since I am selling off my RPG books, playing would involve buying more. Which is somewhat counter productive.

I am horrendously old fashioned, in some ways. I like my books to be bound paper (vellum is just too expensive to be practical), not digitally downloaded.

(If I want to play an RPG, I have Skyrim.)
