“A friend of mine introduced me to a very talented writer who lives out in Bradford on Avon, Simon R. Green, who has quite a following as both a science fiction novelist and as a Hollywood screenwriter,” Simon [Pearce]explains.

I know SRG did the novel adaptation of the "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves" movie, but did he ever write any other screenplays? Either my curiosity is piqued, or Mr. Pearce is talking out his arse. I suppose that, overall, it's just to build hype for Judas Ghost, so I can't complain.

Simon has 'dabbled' with screenplays (but haven't we all!).

See answer below, apologizes to Simon (the Director) for not querying this at the time.

If there is only one problem with the movie, it is that there are too many Simons connected with it!

Hi guys,

My joining this community is long overdue, I'm the director of Judas Ghost and I'd just like to step in and clarify that my claim in this article that Green is a successful "Hollywood screenwriter" is unfortunately a misquote by the paper - there are a couple of others but that was probably the most glaring. I mentioned that he had friends who were screenwriters and that they'd encounted issues getting their script to screen through the studio system so that might be where the confusion arose! :)

Anyway, thanks to everyone for their interest in the movie - we're working hard to get a distributor on-board at the moment and in the meantime it has been submitted to a number of horror/fantasy festivals around the world so as soon as we have more news on screening dates it will be posted here!

All the best,
Simon.

Welcome aboard Mr. Pearce! I regret I'm not on your side of the pond so I haven't been as privy to Judas Ghost as others have been (I'm glaring at you Luc!) but there is equal excitement over here in the states!

Thanks for clearing up the quote from the article, I was hoping our SRG had done more with screenwriting than I knew about. The article does well to help build the hype for the movie, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for an international release! :D

Aha! I did wonder Luc if you were one of the guys that came along - apologies I didn't get to speak to you all afterwards, but glad to hear you enjoyed it.
