I took a job that involved driving 100 miles a day, and the Graphic Audio interpretation of the Deathstalker saga was one of the many audiobooks I listened to in that time span.

If you have not had a chance to pick these up, you need to right now. They do a great job of telling the saga, and with the sound effects that go along with everything, it feels like a classic Radio Drama.

Fans of the series will not be disappointed by this interpretation.

A friend of mine has listened to the Audio Books and praised them as well. How they compare to the "Star Wars" audiobooks?

Depends. Did you listen to the Radio Dramas, or just an Audiobook of one of the post RoTJ novels?

It is a lot like the Radio Dramas, but with more special effects. They call themselves a movie in your mind, and they aren't kidding. It's like having the TV or a movie on, without actually looking at it.

Check out the samples on their website.

I normally hate abridged audiobooks. I object to the very concept (I have no desire to listen to half a book). However I have to say that these truly blew me away. They were a true radio drama, and from what I gathered didn't cut out too much in the process.
