I was a fan of Captain Silence, and by extension Investigator Frost and Carrion. I admire his loyalty and sense of honor, and his efforts to make the empire a better place during the "golden age" between books 5 and 6.

I liked Giles, he reminded me of Howard's Conan the Barbarian. Captain Silence is a good character too. also, I guess its a given, but Owen.
